This exquisite velvet flower garland is a Miss Rose Sister Violet original. These were used to glue to lamp shades across the top of the shade or along the edge. Sometimes I added beads, usually pearls to enhance the pale pastels and creamy vanilla velvets.
They were used as curtain tie backs or worn in the hair for a bride or bridesmaids and once a garland was used to decorate an Easter basket tied on with big satin bows to the top of the handle of the basket.
A collection of roses, hydrangeas, rosebuds and forget me nots all on a bed of velvet leaves.
It is an exquisite, enchanting adornment which can be used in so many ways.
