These beautiful fabrics are 100 % quilters cotton, perfect quality and printed in our very own Vintage florals. For extra value they are all printed on very wide cotton - 145 cm wide .
Madame Treacle is a lush very extravagant floral , a very cottagey rose bouquet and makes you feel as if you are in a Country cottage garden, sitting in the shade of an old tree, drinking tea from exquisite china cups , sitting on rattan chairs with your loyal dogs by your side. This is what inspires us - an idyllic cottage garden life, a garden filled with flowers and long afternoons sewing and patching and creating.
Madame Treacle's Garden is very wide ( 150 cm ) and 100 % cotton and very vintage .Think of the dreamy pretty floral curtains of once upon a time - durable, machine washable and absolutely charming. It is filled with big bouquets of English flowers - it can be cut for applique and sewn onto jackets and coats, skirts and homewares. We think it is our current favourite.
The background is a vibrant regal Teale.
Please note: Our fabric is sold in 1/2 metre cuts... should you order more than one unit, the fabric will be cut in a continuous piece. For example: 2 = 1 metre... 3 = 1 1/2 metres and so on.
